Everyday I change the dressing on my husband’s arm.
So far, there is no sign of infection, the swelling has gone down, and he has not asked for any pain meds in a couple of days.

Yes, it is official.
Mom broke one of her ribs when she fell on the 23rd of last month.
We learned today that unless it happens to be life threatening, broken ribs are no longer bound since it limits how the injured person breathes. This can cause pneumonia, especially in the elderly.
