Welcome back!
My mother-in-law is alive. Today she will be moved to a nursing home in Temple, TX. for rehabilitation.
The people at the hospice are calling her a 79 year old miracle baby. Her kidneys have started to function again. I am not sure how much, but they are doing something.
Now we wait [...]

Mom is going away.
We have been told that her kidneys have stopped functioning completely. We have no idea just how long her leaving will take. Already it have taken longer than the doctors suspected. On the first of May, we were told that she had about 2 weeks. Obviously it is [...]

My mother-in-law is dying right now. I can remember when there were times that she could be very irritating with some of her habits and actions. Right now, all that I can think about is that she will be gone very soon and I [...]

If you [...]

My mother-in-law can be an amazing woman, when she wants to be.
There are times when I could just hug her. Of course then there are the other times. That is when the phrase ‘in-law’ becomes something not so nice. I imagine that everyone has those moments, don’t they?
One time she was wanting [...]

When we went to the doctor’s office, both of us had lost weight. That is to the good for the both of us.
Since we are both over 50 (he will soon be 61), a good doctor’s report might make possible a no exam life insurance policy. He has some insurance, but I don’t [...]
