Welcome back!
The quick snow that we had where I live was beautiful for a little while. At least many people did not have to worry about getting a home insurance quote, or need to worry about getting damages repaired to their homes.
There were a few accidents on some of the roads. It doesn’t matter how well you can drive a car, or how well you are prepared to drive when it is slick, if your neighboring other drivers do not know what they are doing, there can be a wreck.
The snow is all gone now. In one way I miss it. In another, I am glad that it is gone for the roads are safer, homes are also safer.

As I got up yesterday, looked out the window, I saw snow.
It was coming down rather thickly, and almost looked like a fog. Well, in some parts of this country that might not be much to write about, but where I live it is. I think the news said that it hadn’t snowed here since 1986. There have been ice storms, but that ain’t snow.
Of course since people here aren’t used to driving in snow, I imagine that an insurance quote was on a lot of minds. I learned how to drive up in Arkansas, so snow was just another road hazard. Kind of like armadillos are in Texas. I am happy to say that I didn’t hear too many sirens, so hopefully, drivers were careful.

What a title, but oh so true.
We have been having a lot of drama going on in our lives lately. I look over at one of our cats and what do I see? A look on her face that makes me think that she has some very deep thoughts.
We have had crying - she gave us both comfort.
We have had worry - she gave us lots of purring and cuddling.
We have had shouting - she was smart and hid.
I do wonder what a cat thinks from time to time. They can look so wise with their facial expressions. It can be unnerving to have one sit and state at you with hardly any blinking. Of course when the cat then yawns, and you get a VERY good view of all of those sharp little teeth, it makes you glad that the cats in our house are friendly.
As I said,” I wonder what you are thinking oh inscrutable kitty?” Hmmmm, what’s that smell?
YOU FARTED you brat!

Yup, I said ZITS !!
I do not need an acne solution, but I realize that others do. I do not know who dreamed up the word zits, but it fits as a good description for acne.
I reaalize that I have mentioned many times that acne used to be treated with whiskey being put on the spots, but back in the ‘good old days’ it worked. Of course, they did not have the options that we have now.

Our wallets are getting slim. If I didn’t know any better, I would think that we had used thermogenic fat burners on it.
WE need to think up a way to raise some funds for our new project. My husband is making pins and badges, key rings, bracelets, and other stuff. I am going through my large collection of books and trying to thin out the ranks of books that I have.
We also have lot of videos that we need to go through, too.

Well, things are happening here. It proves that life does go on inspite of what is happening around here.
We are restarting a motorcycle ministry called EL SHADDAI’S WARRIORS. We will need to do a quick trim burn and cleanse to get out someone who stole some of the ministry patchwork. We went to a nearby tailor shop to find out how much new patches would cost. $1040
We are going to have to save up the money to get them. In the long run it will be worth it, though.

My husband has family in Arkansas.
One of his nieces ( Mary), her + child Michael, her 7 year old daughter, and her nephew (Joseph) were all in an auto wreck.
Mary is dead. Joseph is dead. The others have been sent to the hospital. I have no idea what their condition is right now.
UPDATE 2-17-10
If you read this before, you shall see some changes as the information has gotten more clear. Joseph was the son of Mary’s sister Michele.
Michael and the 7 year old were both bruised but okay.

I just had a thought.
What if you are trying to lose weight and you are having a tough time with acne? I mean that one problem is enough to worry about. Then I found out about acne nodules and how they differ from regular acne.
There are so many different things in this world that can cause problems without having two tough ones to fight at the same time. It is bad enough for me to worry about my weight. At least acne is not another problem. When I was a teenager, I never went through the ug phase of having acne. I see now that I was blessed in the long run to avoid that complication in my life.

My brother-in-law is doing something that I want to do.
He is trying very hard to lose weight. I know that he checked out the fastest way to burn fat for him. He is making daily video logs about his war on fat. I want him to win in the greatest way.
He has some exercise equipment that he uses, and is trying to control what he eats. He has my admiration for his endurance and his will power. I have tried many times (without success) to control what I eat and to exercise. So, far, I have not won the fat fight.

Think about having a very cold head.
Today, the temperature was in the 50’s. Tonight it will go to 29. BRRRRRRRRRR
Now, I have hair on my head. Since I am female, that makes me happy. A guy can go bald if he wants to. He can even go find out how to prevent hair loss, but he would still be accepted in society without people looking at him strange. However, in winter, a bald head can leave a person open to getting a very cold head. Of course being hot headed isn’t so great either.
So, here’s to hair. Other than getting in your eyes, or giving you a bad day, it does have its uses.
