Frustrated

Welcome back!
That is a very accurate word right now for many in this country.
WE want the politicians to care about the ordinary citizen. I really have no proof that they do care.
The media people are trying to get people to believe that everything is getting better, but the man on the street will tell [...]

OIL

Yes, the sludge moves on. The oil is gushing, the politicians are blaming, and muttering. People are going broke, being laid off of their jobs, becoming homeless. What is being done?
Yet, if you listen to President Obama, everything is supposed to be getting better.
Who is dreaming here? Not me. I [...]

Lies

Our media cannot be counted on to tell all of the facts when they talk about news items.
The media is full of ‘concern’ for those who were on the blockade running ships off of Israel’s own coast. Israeli soldiers were stabbed, and bludgeoned to death, but the media does not tell about them. [...]

What if…

What if there was a way to get rid of unsightly things in an easy manner? I know that a natural acne treatment would be handy, but I am talking about things like - say - trash on the side of the road, too many billboards, smog, noisy politicians on TV taking up your television [...]

Freedom of speech? Not really

Some students at an AMERICAN school were told they were not allowed to show their patriotism by wearing t-shirts with the American flag on it.
What about them having the freedom of speech?
I do believe that their rights were violated by some poor thought out political correctness.

Bills paid

Well, it is Sunday, the bills are paid.
Now all we have to do is figure out where to get some more money to pay for food for the house, medicine, gas…incidentals like that.
Anyone who is on Social Security of any form knows what I am talking about. It is not enough to really do [...]

It’s not dripping

Our computers aren’t the only things going blotto these days.
Our toilet has decided that when we need to go out, it will run continuously until we get back and wiggle the handle. I do not want to know about the water bill. Of course, I could tell the land lord about Kohler toilets. [...]

What a world

Of course, maybe I should have said what a country.
It could be worse, it could be like some other countries where we cannot blog, or write our opinions. Switch our rights to what others have and I do appreciate what we have. It could be better, but that is up to us and [...]

Fees, fees, fees

We have a friend that has been without a drivers license for quite a while.
Today, he investigated how to get it back. It is possible if he is willing to spend about 4,000 dollars. So much for the state of Texas. Everywhere you look, there are new fees that have to be [...]

What do I call this?

What do I call this? I call it blogging. I call it writing down my opinion. It is a great way to blow some steam and get some things off of my mind.
Balancing a budget - ordinary people HAVE to do it. Buying food for their families, buying medicine, paying rent, [...]
