Welcome back!
My mother-in-law is alive. Today she will be moved to a nursing home in Temple, TX. for rehabilitation.
The people at the hospice are calling her a 79 year old miracle baby. Her kidneys have started to function again. I am not sure how much, but they are doing something.
Now we wait [...]

Mom is going away.
We have been told that her kidneys have stopped functioning completely. We have no idea just how long her leaving will take. Already it have taken longer than the doctors suspected. On the first of May, we were told that she had about 2 weeks. Obviously it is [...]

I am glad for this time is a time when bitterness and misunderstanding could make everything so very bad. My husband’s brother is not like [...]

The hospice has told the family members that she no longer fits the profile of someone who should be in hospice. That’s good, she will be around a little longer.
The bad news is that my brother-in-law has again proven himself to be ___________. I [...]

Have you ever noticed just how un-logical people can be?
My mother-in-law is dying right now. I can remember when there were times that she could be very irritating with some of her habits and actions. Right now, all that I can think about is that she will be gone very soon and I [...]

We are having to think about that right now. My mother-in-law is now in hospice care. Her kidneys, heart, and other things are wearing out. She is at peace,
We are learning, though. We will miss her a lot.
She is loved.
Share and [...]

After our friend worked on our van, I was sure that i would need to contact a chiropractic technician school, find someone who had graduated, and then get that person to help his back.
He says that he is okay. I hope so, it is not every friend that will spend hours helping with someone [...]

Have you ever noticed that pharmacists give medicines strange names?
I know of several to run past you: amitriptyline, triam/hydroclothiaze , or even adapexin-p. You would think that giving something an easy name to remember would make it easier to remember.
When they write out their prescription forms it also looks as if they are using [...]

Remember the spill in the Gulf of Mexico? What happened to all of the news coverage? What happened to the people trying to make a living in spite of the mess? What has happened to the business in those areas?
Questions, I have. Answers, not many. I wonder what happened to [...]

I am unemployed. Not by choice, but by necessity. Pain does have a limitation on the things that you can do.
One job I used to hold was as a nurses-aide in a nursing home. Now there are jobs available that go to individual homes and help the people at home and not [...]
