Welcome back!
This was a sad day.
Kids dress up in costumes to celebrate a holiday that they do not know the history of. Pedophiles are locked up in rooms to keep them from preying on those kids.
What about the rest of the year?
What happened to safety for children?

Listening to all of the balderdash that our politicians in office are producing is very frustrating.
They get paid even when they are no longer in office. We, as citizens are not so blessed. If we no longer work, we do not get paid. Our paychecks have money taken out whether or not [...]

Have you seen the recent advertisement that contains the phrase ‘invisible cord’? It is disturbing that the father is presented as being a moron. The daughter is presented as being a smart alec disrespectful brat.
The mother does not act as a parent. The whole idea is not good.
I realize that this is [...]

It has been a week. A lot has happened.
The hospice has told the family members that she no longer fits the profile of someone who should be in hospice. That’s good, she will be around a little longer.
The bad news is that my brother-in-law has again proven himself to be ___________. I [...]

Please fill in your own letters for those which are actually characters.
We cannot afford to have cable TV, or satellite dish service. Sometimes the TV set will be clear. Sometimes the picture will freeze and there is no sound, and &^%$&^%$^&. I guess you get the picture.

I would have chosen more accurate wording, but did not want to offend the eyes of readers.

Have you checked out the recent commercials that have appeared on TV?
It is an amazing crop. Most of them are not appealing because they show behavior that is not good. Sacrificing humans to test a candy bar; snotty, bratty children who put down their parents or sass them and back talk. [...]

Everywhere that we look today, we hear about budgets that are out of control, and the politicians are talking about cuts.
Why do we NEVER hear about them cutting THEIR salaries? They are the ones who have gotten us into this deplorable condition. Why do they not CUT their salaries first before anything else. [...]

Would you believe that lately, our vehicle has seen us more than our home, or our pets?
We have been running around so much that I have gotten GRUMPY to the extreme.
I have gone to bed when I could, but it is hard to sleep when a very blabby person keeps calling and bugging me. [...]

My brother-in-law mentioned that I should clarify what it is that I am talking about.
Some of those commercials that bother me are these:
A company wants to test out a candy bar. They feed some of the candy to people, then they feed the people to sharks and ask the sharks’ opinions about the taste [...]
