Medals

Welcome back!
People like to wear a lot of things.
Some rock stars will wear enough jewelry on them to add 5 pounds of weight to their body weight. Others will wear only one miraculous medal on a chain around their neck, or on a bracelet.
Me, I like to wear one ring around my finger. [...]

Tough times

I have a feeling that there are some tough times ahead for many.
Apayday advance loan might help, might not. The congress is twiddling their fingers, the prices are going up, the economy is hurting.
One thing that I can think of is that there is nothing new under the sun. What we are seeing [...]

She’s gone

Today Dorothy Peterson went home to Heaven.
She was born Aug 12,1931.
She loved the Lord, her family, and those she adopted as her ‘kids’.
Her family celebrates her arrival in Heaven and the family reunion she is having with loved ones who have gone on before. She no longer hurts.

What I found

What I found in a recent website mentioned blac label clothing.
Is there a difference between black and white labels? I don’t know. This was for men’s clothing. Does that mean that women’s clothing is referred as white label? Very confusing. It is almost as confusing as the way as politics [...]

Frustrated

Listening to all of the balderdash that our politicians in office are producing is very frustrating.
They get paid even when they are no longer in office. We, as citizens are not so blessed. If we no longer work, we do not get paid. Our paychecks have money taken out whether or not [...]

Empty

No, I am not feeling that way. Mom’s former apartment is empty now.
It took a lot of work, sorting, boxing, packing. I had not quite realized just how much stuff she had. Her son from Arkansas did a lot of the sorting, boxing, piling, and stuff.
Just in books alone, there were 10 [...]

Just think…

Just think, the Fourth of July is now past. Soon, people will wonder what type of college grad gift to get their adult child. Then will come the time that kids start school again.
Of course I imagine that some parents will be happy to have school start again. Then shortly there are [...]

Wishes

Have you ever heard of the old saying - If wishes were fishes, the sea would be full?
I have thought about it a lot lately. I wish that we had a home that was big enough to actually properly place all of the stuff that we own. Think about it, design your own [...]

Invisible Cord

Have you seen the recent advertisement that contains the phrase ‘invisible cord’? It is disturbing that the father is presented as being a moron. The daughter is presented as being a smart alec disrespectful brat.
The mother does not act as a parent. The whole idea is not good.
I realize that this is [...]
