It’s Official

Yes, it is official.
Mom broke one of her ribs when she fell on the 23rd of last month.
We learned today that unless it happens to be life threatening, broken ribs are no longer bound since it limits how the injured person breathes. This can cause pneumonia, especially in the elderly.
So, no whooping it up for mom, for right now. Not that she would do that anyway since she is in her late 70’s.
