Winter - YUK
Welcome back!
Well, it is all over the TV about what winter is doing in our state. Of course, it is also messing with other states, too.
We are not yet having ice storms here, but it is close to happening.
I remember when we had lived in Arkansas and there had been an ice storm. I was going to work and had to cross many streets which had traffic lights. At one spot the road that I was on tilted and I had to drive uphill to cross the intersection. Well, the traffic light does not take into account any ice on the road. I put on 5 miles just trying to cross that one intersection. I went through a bunch of red lights, but once I started to move, I wasn’t going to stop. Thank God that there were only 2 cars waiting and watching. Not many people were out that day. I was just one of the few. Where we live here in Texas, we don’t usually have ice storms. Snow is also somehing very rare.
