Home again, home again
Welcome back!
He has had his surgery, and we are home.
Sounds simple doesn’t it? Well, it wasn’t simple. It took 35 hours with no sleep for me and some pain and waiting for him. Yes, he is home, yes he is recovering fully. Through it all, I found out that caffeine is my friend. Yup, I drank about 3 full pots of coffee trying to keep up with his needs since he couldn’t move about much and was in pain and having cramps.
I never knew that I could go that long without sleep before. Now I know that i can do it. We are both home, that doctors said that he came through all of this well and believe that he will fully recover without any scars or complications. We are both very ecstatic about that. I am just sorry that he found out what bladder cramps feel like and he found out what the aftermath of those horrid things is like.
Our cats were both very opinionated toward us and let us know that they did not appreciate the hospital smell that we both had. Well, he had hospital, I had sweat. YUK for the sweat smell.
He is home, and feeling better. YAHOO
