We need rain
Welcome back!
Yes, we do need rain. I have heard that in Florida there has been an abundance of rain that is causing problems for some who live there. In other parts of the country, there is rain.
A couple of days ago, we had some sprinkles. Sprinkles, would you believe it? This part of Texas appears to still be under drought conditions. There are burn bans all over the place. The grass sound potato chips when you walk on it. EWWW. Crickets are coming into houses to find water. The cats are enjoying the crickets, we are not. They will jump to avoid the cats. Who knows where they will land.
Think about this, you are reading a book ( meaning me), you hear something, the next thing you know something lands on my leg and a cat pounces, the cricket leaves. I sit there feeling my heart beating, my skin crawling, and the cat going crazy. Sounds fun? NOT.
I realize that these bugs want water. They will not find it in here, just a lingering death from cat play. MEOW.}:> That is the closest that I can come to a cat face with my keyboard.
