The Tempest
Welcome back!
We have recently gone through a tempest in our little neighbor hood. Our adopted brother ended up in the hospital through the services of 911. He fell unconscious in a friend’s house and did not come to until after getting put in the ambulance and having the paramedics work on him.
He is married to a woman who does not understand what marriage is. She has been driving him crazy. When his weekly allowance comes in from the money managers, she waits until he cashes the check, takes a nap, and then steals all of his money for whatever she wants. The last time she did this, he had 5 prescriptions waiting for him at the pharmacy. She did not leave a cent. He has been trying to get her to stop stealing, or to leave. Last night the apartment manager had to go to his apartment and tell her that she had to leave. This is necessary since she is not on the lease. She has refused to sign any papers concerning this and it is causing trouble for our brother.
She is out, now. He is still in the hospital. She never asked where he was or if he was okay. Her only concern was who would give her a ride. This is sad. She has evidently been on drugs for so long that even her family did not want to help. This is also sad.
