Going Green

Politics are always present.
Going green is something that is now also brought up in politics. As for myself, I do use those new compact fluorescent light bulbs that can now be found in the stores. The old incandescent bulbs are supposed to go the way of the dinosaur. Some dollar type stores still have them available for sale.
In my use of those new bulbs, they do save a lot of energy. We have several lights that are left on all of the time, and our electric bill has actually gone down, which is nice of course. I am not a green fanatic. I do recycle aluminum, although the price of the cans has gone down. It is a shame that plastics cannot get a better price since most of the work involved in its making is already done.
