The Tornado Missed Us
Welcome back!
Yes, spring time is here. Our area (in Texas) just went through some thunder storms and at least one tornado. I have no idea if it hit anything, we have not heard of anything.
The clouds were low and fast and very dark. I was sitting in a parking lot and watching them go overhead. I noticed one area that had swirling clouds that were going around in circles. I got out of the car, but never saw a funnel in that cloud.
I heard on the news later that there had been a tornado, but damage was not mentioned. Where I grew up we had those things every year. I got used to them and so did others in that town. We learned the signs of tornado weather and got so we could tell when there was going to be a twister. Now I live where they do not come as often, but when they do hit,it is usually hard. I am glad that we were not hit. I just hope that no one else was either.
