It’s Under the Rug

Do you remember the cartoons that show someone sweeping things under the rug to avoid picking it up?
We have a cat that does that. She must have seen someone do it somewhere before. It is hilarious to watch her when she is eating. After munching on the food, she will start her sweeping and will tilt up the bowl and push any fallen food under it. It does collect rather quickly.
As for the littler pan, it sits on a small rug so the litter is not tracked all over the house. Works too, except for the few pieces that do eventually get out when the other cat plays in the ’sand box’. The this cat will go to the edge of the rug, start sweeping the floor and pull up the edge of the rug and put the escaped litter under it. I know that people do things like that. Now I know that cats can, too.
