On to better things
Welcome back!
While I was sitting and writing my previous post, I realized that things aren’t quite as bad as they could be.
Our neighbor has been helping, his son is also a mechanic, we do have some transportation since we are both handicapped and live in central Texas. So those are the better things. Our neighbor is the one who helped to get that piece of the engine off so we could find a replacement for it. The transportation that we can use is called “The Hop’. It is funded by the State of Texas, and a group that helps out the elderly and the handicapped (Area Agency on the Aging). It is not as expensive as a taxi could be, and the people who drive the vehicles are friendly and helpful.
I am thankful that we do not line in an isolated area. So yes, there are better things.
