Finally !
Welcome back!
Yes, FINALLY ! Since about November 6, 2008 we’ve been coughing fit to scare a cat. The practically unending tickle in the throat, the runny nose (no, not allergies), the sore sides, the inconvenience of needing to go to the bathroom all the time is ending.
The flu people. I cannot describe the relief to be had in the absence of the cough. There is a little left just to remind us what had gone on. It had gone away for a little while. Then it came back with a vengeance along with the runs. Turns out there are 2 different viruses going around and we managed to get both of them, one after another. Our sinuses are trying to run over, but now we can actually sleep practically undisturbed.
My left ear feels like it is stuffed with cotton and can’t remember how to hear anything. Very weird effect there. The aches and pains, coughs, and other body responses made us have to be anti-social to keep from sharing this mess with any one we care about. Thank God we are FREE AT LAST !
