Have you looked at catalogs lately? Yes, the prices of things are definitely up there. I was looking at the prices of shoes in the different catalogs that we get at our house.
Some of what I’ve seen is totally amazing. The shoes shown are not leather. They are vinyl and look as if they could be found in Wal Mart (of course at a much lower price). Why would the idea of putting them in a catalog make the price higher? It is not logical. If the shoes were of a special make or name, I could understand why the price might be a little elevated. Some of the prices that I’ve seen do not fit what is shown in the catalog. Why are those shoes so expensive? They are not special….at least to me. Who determines the prices? Just putting them in the catalog should not be the thing that changes the price that is applied. Oh well, just buyer beware. Do not be afraid to shop around.
