Time ?

Does anybody have the time? Yes, it is now 11:16 am on January 29, 2009. How about that for weird?
Have you ever had someone come up to you and ask for the time? Can’t tell you how many times that has happened. I do not always remember to wear my watch, but at least the cell phone has the time. I do not wear Gucci watches myself. Mostly I wear an off brand that can be bought very cheaply. I like to have a wide watch band and usually have to make my own to have it be wide the way that I like it to be. I remember that mom used to wear one of these little ‘lady’ watches that are small and very narrow. I always wondered how she could read the time on something so small. I like one that only takes a glance at a large dial face in order to read it. My husband sometimes wears a watch, but most times he forgets his watch just like me.
What ever happened to clocks that were obvious and in a lot of places on walls where ever we went? Used to be that we could just look around and see one. Now, they are nowhere to be seen.
