Silk Ties

Have you ever heard of the ties that bind? Well, there are different types of ties. Some are made of hemp (think of people that are hooked on marijuana for one), ties that are made of cotton, ties made of blood (think of family and kin), and even silk ties.
We might not think about it , but we are connected to other countries by silk ties. China, Pakistan, India, Brazil……I could name many countries. Our imports each year have grown so much that if we stopped importing anything at all (do not forget OIL), many countries would suddenly go bankrupt. ant. Even that word has the word import in it.
It would be nice to be free of any outside influence, but it is not very realistic in today’s world.
