Sniffle, Snurf, Snoggle
Welcome back!
True, those are not real words, except for sniffle. What makes you sniffle - A COLD ! Yuck.
Those words are actually descriptions of some of the uncouth sounds that I have been making lately. There is no polite way to describe them. I feel sorry for the people around me in the store for hearing these sounds, but they come with the territory, and I do have to shop even when I would rather stay home and sleep.
I have yet to find anyone who can be dignified when they have a cold. I am most assuredly NOT dignified. I try to avoid whining, it is not easy. However, the sounds that I make…….
some of the cold remedies that are on the shelves these days do not mix well with other medicines, so I am limited. At least where I shop, the pharmacists are not afraid to share their expertise and knowledge with me so I do not make any ghastly mistakes. Meanwhile, It has not yet been 7 days for the cold to be gone. I but wait for that day to come. Sigh
