The Eyes Have It
Welcome back!
I know, I know, the proper way to spell this phrase is with the word ayes(meaning yeses). However, since I had mentioned books in an earlier article, I decided to mention eyes.
I remember being told when you that I should eat my carrots in order to help my eyes. Well, I love carrots, but I do wear glasses. Oh well. Some people wear contact lenses, but I have problems when things are touching my eyes. One hair in my eye can drive me totally conkers. It was when I was a kid that I probably hurt my eyes. I used to be grounded by having my library card taken away because I love books so much. I would sneak them into the house and read them at night, under the covers with a flashlight. Yup, eye strain. I never could tell how my mom would know every time when I was doing that. She told me after I was grown that I used to snore and that was how she knew. But that is another story.
