Computer Stuff
Welcome back!
I just saw a site that advertises different types of cables that you can use for computers, and what ever else. It is called Firefold and I saw the CAT5e was advertised. I have computer equipment in my home, but that doesn’t mean that I know what to do with all of the cables and everything else that can go with the computers.
Some of the cables that I saw look as if they could go to a phone or something else. So far I have been blessed with a friend that comes by once in a while and makes sure that i haven’t fried the computer, or over loaded it with too many things. It is nice to know a place that can be gotten to in order to get more cables if necessary. We have been given 2 different printers, one for each of our computers. The printers came with one hook-up, or cable that has this really complicated type of plug on it. What I wonder is, do the printers need a power cord, too? If they do, where do you get the power cable to go with them, and why can’t the computer itself supply the necessary power? Like I said before, I am still learning. At least I can type on the keyboard.
