Mammograms
Welcome back!
Well, have to type this fast. Today I will be taking my mother-in-law to the doctor for her yearly mammogram. I call it the squeeze. OUCH is another label for it.
However, it is something that can save someone’s life. Early detection of possible breast cancer for women and for men give the person more chances to survive something that could very well be catastrophic if undetected. Medical science today has really progressed far beyond what had been possible early in the 1900’s. I like the medical advances of today, I just wish the compassion of yesterday could go along with it. People do not always seem to care about their fellow human beings today. Well, back to what I was writing.
If you have the money, Male or Female, you should really think about getting this test done. I, myself, did not realize that men could also get breast cancer. Just because they do not have as much out front, does not mean that they won’t need to be checked out also. My blog features the pink ribbon theme from Word Press. It is good to remind people to GET CHECKED, it is for safety, and peace of mind to do so. Thanks for reading.
