Strange Critters

I’ve been alive for a little while and have come to this conclusion - guys are strange critters.
News flash, I think that women have known that for thousands of years. Sometimes guys laugh at things that do not seem funny. Of course, I am female, so my thinking is not the same as theirs. When my husband gets together with his neighbors and friends, the things that are talked about are way different than the things that are shared between ladies. Sometimes I wonder how we manage to get along with each other. Of course that is where the phrase - battle of the sexes - comes in to play. The mental processes between us can sometimes be very much alike, and then there are the other times.
Laughter over farts, burps, other body noises, smells, and parts can be easily thought crass until you realize that to guys these are things that are talked about almost every day. Marriage has been an eye opener for me. Some of the same things that make me laugh will also do so for my husband, other times he looks at me as if I was the weird one in the room. Go figure.
Well, any way it keeps life from getting boring ,because I am still learning that some thing will tickle his funny bone and leave me wondering - HUNH? so I can say without any fear of making him think that I am criticizing him when I say that guy are strange critters. I have heard that guys say that about us ladies, too.
