Salmon Patties

Welcome back!

Yes, this another recipe. I am having fun here. I have had some recipes for a while that I have used ‘on’ my husband. He has been very understanding. When I come up with a success, he tells me and smiles. When something is not so good, he will say that He loves me and then asks that I not fix that again, unless I change it. It is not a perfect system, but it works. Plus my husband is still alive, and we have learned to communicate rather nicely. sometimes in a marriage the communication lines do not work. The lines do work with us. :)
Now, for the Salmon Patties:
1 regular can of Salmon - flake it up thoroughly, including the bones (they add calcium)
3 eggs
Mix together the above items.
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Curry powder - not the hot type, just the type with flavor
1/4 tsp White ground pepper (it is not bad for your digestion)
1/2 tsp Italian seasonings
Mix the dry ingredients together, then mix in to the wet mix.
1 1/2 cup uncooked Oatmeal (it will match the texture of the fish nicely and add good flavor)
Fold the oatmeal into the mix, form into patties (any size patties).

Place the patties into a heated frying pan that has heated oil in it. Fry until cooked and crisp outside. These are tasty, without the curry overpowering the taste.

This patties will freeze nicely, are good in sandwiches, as a main course….let your imagination be your guide.
