Gossip
Welcome back!
That is something which many people do and take part in without thinking. No thinking about the harm done to the ones being gossiped about. I once read an article that said gossip hisses like a snake. How true. Gossip is like a snake in the grass, just waiting to strike and spread poison.
In my opinion someone who gossips a lot is a very sad person. It appears that the only way they can be satisfied is to cause another person pain. Jokes are one thing. Pranks are one thing. Gossip is another thing, it is hurtful. It does not accomplish anything good, not for the one doing it or the one it is being done to. How much of our daily talk is nothing more than gossip.
Have any of us ever though about what it is that we are doing? WE ARE LYING. That is gossip. It is not based on fact. It has no truth. It does not care who is hurt by it. All it does is lie and spread pain.
