France Accused in Genocide

Why am I not surprised? After the snotty comments from France concerning the US in Iraq, now there are accusations that French soldiers helped to kill civilians in the genocide of Rwanda civilians by the Hutu’s.
Some witnesses have come forward saying the soldiers helped to train the militias that killed over 800,000 people. The soldiers helped to train, supplied, and sometimes stood guard with the murdering militias. After all of the comments that our country has heard from the French on the in-appropriateness of the Iraqi war, this just proves that they are hypocrites themselves. Our soldiers at least were trying to help a country, not take part in a slaughter.

I think it is a big jump from training soldiers to saying that “French Soldiers helped to kill Soldiers”
You could say that Western support for Iraq years ago (and not so many) led to “US soldiers helped to kill civilians”.
Yes, a far cry from soldiers killing or training soldiers. But the fatalities listed in the article from the BBC were civilians.
