Cinnamon Pull-aparts
Welcome back!
I’m not much of a meat cooker. With meat I stick to the basics, sort of.
But, give me bakery stuff, and my imagination runs wild. Have you ever heard of ‘monkey bread’?
Well, this is my shortcut version of that yummy treat.
2 cans of buttermilk biscuits, open, cut into 5-6 pieces each.
Melt 1/2 stick oleo in pan
Add 1/2 c sugar
Stir until it is thoroughly blended.
Add chopped pecans to oleo mix, you choose how much pecans
Add 1/2 Tbs cinnamon
Mix all ingredients together and put into meatloaf pan.
Bake in oven 350′ for about 20-30 min.
A toothpick inserted should come out basically clean.
This is a cheater’s quick monkey bread. It can be varied with so many different add-ons that it can be flexible.
