Yes, now that our van is no longer having trouble with the oil pressure readings, we are running around again.

At least this time we are not worrying about blowing the motor up. Of course, with the running, we stop in various places, use restrooms, wash hands, drink coffee…I guess that you get the picture.

What gets me are the different types of hand dryers that you can find in those places. My favorite is the old fashioned paper towel. You can find blowers of differing types, paper towels racks that roll out the towels for you and the type that you have to pull on the towel to get it to move.

Some of those racks are stubborn about giving more than one piece of towel for you to use. Others let you get just how many you want. I am not in favor of those that blow air because they do not actually get your hands dry, they just take up your time. The warmth is nice, though. I am THE main driver in our family and get to be chauffer for everyone. At least our vehicle is comfortable to sit in and to drive.

Oops, forgot to get it inspected today. The inspection sticker ran out the end of January. This is February isn’t it?

Right after I had written my last article, and gone off-line; our light went out.

It made me glad that i had turned off everything. It also frustrated me since I was aobut ready to go to sleep myself. With most people, going to sleep isn’t hard. I have very severe sleep apnea. Going to sleep without my 2 breathing machines could end up being fatal.

Well, it gives a new meaning to keeping an eye on things. I ended up having to wait until 5 in the morning when the lights came back on. If the power had been off for more than that amount of time, I would have needed to go to a medical facility and ask for help because of my medical condition. At least while I’m awake there is no problem. I once fell asleep with heart moniters on me and created a CODE BLUE on my floor of the hospital. It was a learning experience for me and the nurse who were on duty at that time.

When I had gone through the sleep clinic, the doctor later told me that my sleep apnea had gotten to the point where it was life threatening. Now I know what he meant exactly.

Yup, it is raining in a really fierce manner.

I have had to turn off the tv, the computer, and other stuff. The tv that I have isn’t an HDTV by any means, but it works, and it is ours.

We have flash flood warnings out for our area. It makes me glad that we live on a hill, instead of low down next to the creek nearby. Some of the apartments where we live are without power right now. The emergency crew was out to check up on a neighbor that uses special breathing equipment. I can’t go to sleep until I know that the lightning has stopped. Tomorrow, I will be sleepy for most of the day. Oh well.

I’ve been running…..around that is.

There have been somethings going on lately. I’ve been going to the hospital, going with a brother to the clinic, taking mom to the clinic, taking my husband to the hospital and to the clinic. I am pooped.

I had mentioned previously that my husband has a sense of humor.

Well, one day his humor was really needed. He had been having trouble with a really painful tooth. We did not have a Plano dentist that he could go to, so he pulled his own tooth.

To some that might not seem like much of a bother, but he has had his jaw wired before because of a work related incident. I am just glad that when he pulled it, it came out without too much trouble. The tooth ended up being over an inch long, and it had hole in to where the gum didn’t cover it. You could even see the nerve in it when it was out.

I have been fortunate in not needing to have that done lately. Still, all that I can think of is OWWWWWWWWWWW.

I like to say that. It sounds fun.

It also has nothing to do with what I was to write. (snicker) Yes, I am a smart alec, and have a weird sense of humor at times. Of course that isn’t really saying anything since my husband likes to imitate a monkey sometimes. ‘Clyde” is the name of his monkey. He calls him a red headed imaginary monkey. He also claims that the monkey is his lawyer. His favorite line is that he had never won a case, or lost a case, but he got a case kicked out of court by getting up in from of the judge and acting weird…..you know…

Scratching head, scratching his armpit and making funny noises.

“Clyde” is very famous in some areas of our local hospital because of my husband’s sense of humor. I must admit that I am very glad that he has a sense of humor and is not a grouch.

One thing that can help with your skin and your appearance is keeping up your health

Keeping up your health can be done through exercise, vitamins, food, and supplements. Not everyone can afford to buy the supplements that they needs, so you would need to be careful which ones that you buy. www.supplementcritic.com is one of the sites that talk about different types of supplements. I have no idea just how many supplements there are out there, or where you can go to buy them. In departments stores, drug stores, health food stores, and on-line are some of the choices out there for getting what you want.

I have heard of some of the supplements that are available, but I am still not sure just which ones to get. I guess that I would need to do some research, too.

The last thing I mentioned was your skin and how it can effect your appearance.

Well, you need to be careful when you go out and look for different treatment items. I realize that different things work differently for each person. With exposed acne treatment reviews, it might be possible to find out more about different items that might be used. Of course there are also many sites that advertise their own brands of things to be used.

There are also items that can be purchased off of the shelf in many stores. All that I can say is that you would need to be careful when you go shopping, whether on-line, or in person for the treatments that you need.

I mentioned appearance in my last article. Well one thing that effects your appearance is you skin.

I have no idea what my iQ derma is, but I know that I do not have zits.

Pimples, zits, blackheads, scars, redness all of these thing could detract from your positive appearance. I realize that there are a lot of items available on the market for people who have skin problems. So far, I have avoided these things. I am very happy about that. When I play with my cats, it is enough that I get the occasional scratch when we are in the middle of play. My hair is short so I do not have to worry about bad hair days, too.

If you are indeed looking for work, one of the things that is important is keeping your appearance neat and clean.

If you are as overweight as I am, safe weight loss pills might come in handy. Make sure that your clothes are neat, clean and in good repair. Although with the styles that are out in society today (baggy pants, layers of shirts) that might not be too easy.

I realize that there are not a lot of choices in jobs, but the better educated that you are and the more likely that your resume will have something on it that an employer might like.
